Fighting a dictatorship requires a dynamic and innovative approach, which fully utilizes modern technology and embraces new methods of organization.
Fighting dictatorship successfully also requires the active cooperation of all pro-democracy forces, working within a flexible overall framework and organized around the goal of a strong, free and democratic Syria.
That is why the Movement for Justice and Development is moving away from traditional party structures, to a flat-structured, de-centralized model. Leadership is earned by example, there are fewer organizational tiers, and decision-effecting ideas flow bottom-to-top.
Our Movement not only embraces this new way of working with rhetoric; it is implementing it on the ground with results that have surprised
many.
As part of this new drive, we try to keep our Movement as stream-lined as possible, freeing up more activists to be on the ground campaigning.
Our main bodies are:
Executive Board
It is the official decision-making body in the Movement. It is elected by MJD members inside and outside Syria.
